What is the Difference between using a Minister verses a Celebrant

If your looking for an informal ceremony that has no personalization to it, then hiring a Minister will serve your purposes. However, if your looking for a tailor made ceremony that speaks about the both of you, then you should be looking to hire a Celebrant. Celebrants spend alot of time getting to know their couples and delivering a wedding script that is unique and memorable. Celebrants understand the rituals and traditions of their couples and can weave these formalities into a wedding script.

How to handle an outdoor candle lighting ceremony with gusty winds

There are many times when a couple will have an outdoor wedding and would like to have a candle lighting ceremony. What happens if on that wedding day, it gets windy outside? The first thing I explain to the couple is that they should be prepared if their wedding day turns out to be a windy day. The best remedy for this is to have battery operated candles just in case mother nature decides to attend their wedding. As a Celebrant, I always advise my clients to bring additional candles and two lighters. You must always be ready for the unexpected!

Many ways to incorporate your beloved dog in your wedding ceremony

Many brides and grooms ask me how to have their beloved Fido in their wedding ceremony. As a Celebrant, my job is to make these requests a reality. I work with the couples and show them the sites that they can go on to get their pooch a beautiful wedding outfit fit for a queen or king. Next, I will weave the dog's role into my wedding script and do a wedding rehearsal to show them how their dog will come down the aisle. In the end, the dog is a big hit and so is the wedding ceremony. This is what dreams and memories are all about when creating this special day.
